Hall of Fame
Shane Donohue was a four-year member of the men's volleyball team and a three-year captain. During his career, he helped lead the Roadrunners to 105 regular-season victories with just 38 losses. The program captured back-to-back ECAC Championships and made four consecutive NECVA Tournament appearances during the pre-NCAA era.
The 2009 squad won the Metro Conference Regular Season Title, finishing 9-0 in conference play. Donohue concluded his career second in program history with 1,750 career kills, while also landing fourth in blocks with 348, fifth in digs with 834 and sixth with 112 aces. He was a four-time NECVA All-Conference selection, while being named ECAC Tournament Most Valuable Player.
Following his senior season, in which the Roadrunners posted a 25–9 overall record, the program finished ranked 10th nationally in the final American Volleyball Coaches Association Poll. Donohue graduated from Ramapo in 2009 with a degree in finance.
He currently resides in Wall and works as a home inspector while spending time flipping houses. He is married to his wife, Kathryn, and together they have three daughters: Keira (8), Claire (6), and Callie (2).
