A four-year member of the men’s soccer team, Rob Santaniello quickly made his mark as one of the top players in the history of the program. During his career from 2009-2012 he played in 69 games logging just under 4,000 minutes. His 64 career goals stands at #1 on the all-time record list at the College while he stands at #2 for goals in a season with 21. Santaniello also sits in the Top Ten on the all-time records list for goals in a season for each of his additional three seasons with the
program. (#6, 2009 - 16, #7, 2011 - 14, #8, 2012 - 13). He also holds the record for career game winning goals with 17 and sits at #2 for game winners in a season with five from 2010. He racked up accolades including NJAC Rookie of the Year, NJAC Offensive Player of the Year and NJAC 1st Team All-Conference all four seasons. In 2010 he was named NSCAA/Performance Subaru Men's NCAA Division III All-South Atlantic All-Region team while also being named to the first ever D3soccer.com All-America team.
He finished his sophomore season leading all of NCAA Division III in three offensive categories; points per game, goals per game and total goals. Santaniello was also awarded the Ramapo College Career Award for his outstanding performances both on the field and in the classroom at the conclusion of his collegiate career. He graduated from Ramapo with a degree in finance in 2013 and currently works as the Assistant Vice President for Commercial Loans at Valley National Bank. He currently resides in Midland Park with his girlfriend Brittany and their dog Bear.
