    2004-2005 Men's Basketball Team
History was made on February 25, 2005 when the Roadrunners defeated the Stockton Ospreys, 79-71 for the program’s first ever New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship.  The game was a tale of two halves, as Stockton controlled the pace for much of the first half, and Ramapo would control the second, surpassing the Ospreys to take the crown.  With their 13-3 conference record, Ramapo went into the NJAC post-season tournament as the #1 seed and with the victory, the team earned the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament, one which would be hosted right here on the Mahwah campus.  The Roadrunners would climb to the Sweet 16 round before falling to King’s College at the Bradley Center, ending their dream of the national title.  But the season was one for the record books as collectively the team put together a 24-5 season, stringing together a 14-game win streak midway through the season.

At the conclusion of the season, 2013 Hall of Fame inductee, Amin Wright, earned NJAC 1st Team All-Conference honors while being named the NJAC Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.  Rashawn Wilson earned NJAC 2nd Team All-Conference honors and Todd Lowber took home an honorable mention nod while Head Coach Chuck McBreen was named "John K. Adams" Coach of the Year.
