A four-year member of the men’s volleyball team from 2001-2004, and two-year captain, Kris Fraser made an impact on the volleyball court early on in his collegiate career. He holds numerous records at Ramapo including kills in a season, (#1 - 642 in 2004 and #2 - 579 in 2003), career kills, (#1 - 2,010), career blocks (#3 - 350), career digs (#2 - 1,016), service aces in a season (#1 - 88 in 2002 and #2 - 75 in 2001), and career service aces, (#1 - 292). During his career he accumulated numerous accolades including NECVA Metro Rookie of the Year, NECVA Offensive Player of the Year, NECVA Metro Player of the Year, three-time team Most Valuable Player, team Rookie of the Year, and three-time NECVA 1st Team All-Conference. Fraser helped lead his team to four-straight post-season appearances, and an ECAC Championship in 2003, all while collecting 101 wins overall, with an impressive 41-11 record in conference play.
A 2009 graduate of Ramapo College with a degree in biology, Fraser got his volleyball start at the age of 16 playing two-man beach volleyball, where he continues to compete at the professional level. A native of Lakewood, New Jersey, where he played multiple sports growing up, including soccer, baseball, and basketball, he currently resides in Helmetta, and works as an analytical chemist for L‘Oreal Franklin.
