A four-year member of the College's men's basketball team, Jared Milligan helped lead the Roadrunners to three NJAC tournament appearances during his career (01-02, 02-03, 03-04). During his junior season the Roadrunners posted the most wins in program history with an overall record of 26-4, while the team earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. In the first round, Ramapo defeated USMMA, 92-76, before taking down NJAC rival Montclair State University, 89-80 to advance to the program’s second ever appearance in an Elite 8 game. Milligan posted five double-doubles during his career including a career high 15 rebounds against William Paterson during his senior season, while he tallied a career high 29 points against TCNJ during his junior year. While at Ramapo, the team recorded an 81-31 overall record while Milligan tallied 927 points, 497 rebounds (9th All-Time at Ramapo), 115 steals, 111 assists, and 20 blocks. He shot 47% from the field, 33% from the three-point line. He was a two-time NJAC All-Conference honoree including NJAC Second Team All-Conference his senior season. Milligan studied law and society at Ramapo and completed his degree in 2006.
