Hall of Fame
A four-year member, 1998-2001, of the women’s soccer team, Amy Gordon served as captain for three years. She helped lead her team to 30 victories and the program’s first ever post-season appearance in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship Tournament in 2000. Gordon earned Most Valuable Player honors in 1998, 1999, and 2000, before receiving the Coach’s Award during her senior season in 2001. In 2001, she was named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference 2nd Team All-Conference for her efforts on the field. That season she posted a career high 18 goals, which stands at #1 on the all-time leader board for goals in a season. During the 1999 and 2000 seasons, she netted 17 goals coming in at #2 in the record books. Gordon also holds the overall record for assists in a career with 34, and assists in a season with 15 in 2000. For career goals, Gordon is again standing at #1 after posting 63 goals in her fours years with the program. She finished her career with 160 points.
Gordon graduated from Ramapo College in 2001 with a degree in business marketing. While at Ramapo, she was also a member of the women’s basketball team for one year. She currently resides in Atlantic Highlands with her husband, Brett Scales, and works as the General Manager of the family’s wine making shop called Vintner’s Circle in Middletown, New Jersey.
