Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center
Opened in September 2004, the Bradley Center is an 110,000 square foot, student-oriented, multi-purpose facility.
The Center is built to serve the recreational and intercollegiate athletic needs of the Ramapo College community.
Sharp Fitness Center
The fitness center is equipped with state of the art weight training circuit and aerobic fitness machines. It is recommended that beginners consult the weight room monitors prior to using the machines or free weights. In no instance should users experiment without getting instructions from a monitor.

The Lodge Fitness Center
The Lodge Fitness Center is home to Ramapo Athletics' Sports Performance program, and it is also available for students, faculty, and staff to use during the posted/designated supervised hours. Located near the College Park Apartments, the Lodge is equipped with state of the art fitness equipment such as free weights, power racks, functional cable machines, and select aerobic/cardio machines. It is recommended that beginners consult the weight room monitor prior to using the machines or free weights. In no instance should participants experiment with equipment without getting instructions from a monitor.
Rock Climbing Wall
The climbing wall is one of the most realistic climbing walls in the Mahwah area. Constructed by Eldorado Wall Company, the climbing wall was designed to simulate the natural topography of the neighboring Ramapo Mountain Terrain. The wall area has a unique training environment with a wide range of lead, top-rope, and bouldering routes. This area also hosts two types of climbing opportunities. We offer a free standing pedestal climbing area and a twenty-eight- foot high outcropping wall structure. The wall is located on the first floor directly outside of the student recreation area.
Adele and Reuben Thomas Swimming Pool
The pool is located in Q120 through the women’s and men’s general locker room areas. Swimming is allowed only during scheduled times. The aquatic facility hosts a twenty-five yard, six lane pool with starting blocks. The minimum depth is three feet and the maximum depth is twelve feet. All safety equipment is clearly defined and positioned around the facility. You may only swim when a lifeguard is on duty.
Auxiliary Gym
The Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center auxiliary gym has an all purpose floor to accommodate basketball, volleyball, and tennis. Included in the auxiliary gym is a two lane running track. The gym is also home to indoor intramural events. The auxiliary gym is located in room Q110.
Konica Minolta Photo Imaging Spectator Lobby
The glass-enclosed, wedge-shaped atrium serves as a public event area and is home to the Ramapo College Athletic Hall of Fame. A concessions area, which is open during intercollegiate games and special events, is also located in the atrium. The atrium is located outside of the main arena at the south end of the building.
Located on the second floor in rooms Q228 and Q229, this area accommodates aerobic activities and other types of dance classes. The room can be partitioned into two small studios (A and B). Practice bars and mirrors surround the room, which has a hardwood spring loaded free floating floor.
Locker Rooms
Women’s and men’s locker rooms are located next to the auxiliary gym at the north end of the facility. Individuals who purchase a Bradley Center Membership are eligible to use a locker for the length of their membership. Lockers are limited and are issued on a first-come first-serve basis. There is no guarantee that you will receive a locker with your membership. Once membership payment is made, you must fill out a locker request form, if available you will be issued with a locker number and combination. Please allow one full week for locker distribution.
Classroom and Computer Lab
The Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center has a smart classroom on the second floor located in room Q225. This room is used for academic classes for students enrolled at the college. Across from the classroom is a computer lab for enrolled students in Q223.
Athletic Center
Lightning Detection System
The Athletic Center is home to the College's soccer, tennis, baseball, softball, field hockey and lacrosse teams. The Soccer field is home to both the Men and Women's soccer programs which was renovated in 2006. Renovated in 2007, the Ramapo College Tennis Courts are located across the street from the Bradley Center. Featuring twelve courts with stadium lights, the Roadrunners have a quality facility to call home for both practices and competitive matches. The Field Hockey and Lacrosse programs play at the stadium field, an on-campus facility that was renovated in 2008. Included in the upgrades was the installation of a turf, a state-of-the-art synthetic grass-like surface that provides excellent playing conditions, even in the worst of weather. Located behind the baseball facility, the softball field features a natural-grass outfield, bleacher seating along each baseline, three bullpens and an outdoor batting facility. The Ramapo College baseball team plays its home games at Jeff Maund Memorial Baseball Field. A batting cage is located behind left field of the softball field and bullpens are located on each side of the field.
