Robert B. Anderson III was a two-year member of the Roadrunner men’s basketball program from 2000-2002. A former All-American guard for Coach Chuck McBreen, Anderson graduated from Ramapo College with a degree in psychology in May of 2002. He led the Roadrunners to 32 victories in his two-year stint with the program, while helping the team to two post-season appearances including the NJAC and ECAC Championship Tournaments. Ramapo was crowned ECAC Champs in 2002, and Anderson earned the MVP honor, with a 101-83 victory over New Jersey City University. For his efforts on the court, which included leading the team with 19.8 points per game in 01-02, Anderson was named Ramapo College Male Athlete of the Year, NJAC 1st Team All-Conference, ECAC 1st?Team All-Star, D3Hoops 1st?Team All-Region, NABC 1st?Team All-Region, and Metropolitan Writers Association 1st Team All-Region. It took Anderson only two and a half years with the Roadrunners to score 1,000 career points. During his senior campaign he led the team with 574 points and shot 47% from the floor. Anderson is married to his wife Ashrafah and has four children, Nizaiah (10), Ymir (7), Ymani (5), and Jasmine (3).
