Hall of Fame

Bob Jankowski came to Ramapo College out of Lyndhurst High School where he was a three-sport varsity letter winner in football, basketball, and track and field.  He earned numerous honors for his outstanding play including all-county and all-state honors.  He was inducted into the Lyndhurst Hall of Fame in 1989.  While playing football at Ramapo College, Bobby became the all-time leading rusher and scorer.  In 1982 he led the team in rushing, passing, and scoring.  This also included a 75% completion percentage for passing.  He was elected co-captain his junior and senior years.  Bobby earned 1st Team (offense) NJ State College Athletic Conference.

Currently Bobby is a sergeant in the Lyndhurst Police Department and is assigned to the schools as the School Resource Officer. He works closely with the administration, the department, and intervention teams. Bobby also is a volunteer coach for the LHS football team since 1984.

He and his wife Diane, off 22 years, reside in Lyndhurst and have three sons, Bobby, Marc, and Kyle. They are very active in football, basketball, baseball, snowboarding, surfing, and hockey.
