Ramapo College of New Jersey Athletics

Jonathan Yazo was a two-year member of the men’s soccer team and earned New Jersey Athletic Conference First Team All-Conference honors in both seasons. He was also a two-time NSCAA/NCAA Division III All-South Atlantic All-Region selection, earning First Team recognition following the 2011 season and Third Team honors in 2010.

Yazo recorded 23 career assists, finishing third all-time in program history at the conclusion of his career and currently ranking fourth on the program’s all-time assists list. He also remains second all-time in single-season assists collecting 13 during the 2011 campaign. A key contributor and team captain, Yazo played in and started all 32 games during his two seasons with the Roadrunners, logging more than 2,500 minutes on the field.

Over his career, he tallied six goals, including two game-winners, and added 23 assists for 35 career points. While at Ramapo, Yazo’s studies included business management and Spanish.

Yazo currently serves as a trainer and coach with A-Game Soccer, continuing his passion for teaching the game of soccer. A 2024 inductee into the Cliffside Park Hall of Fame, he resides in Plainfield and continues to play competitive soccer in the USL2 League.
