James Nardello was a member of the Roadrunner ice hockey team from 1979-1984. He is a 1984 graduate of the college where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts. In four seasons with the Roadrunner program (no program in 81-82), Nardello helped lead his team to 36 overall victories. In his freshman campaign, he recorded three goals and added two assists, while recording four goals and four assist for eight total points in his sophomore season. In his junior season, 1982-83, Nardello added five goals and chipped in nine assists on the year, helping his team to a second place finish in the Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference. He then moved on to become the second leading scorer on the team in 1983-84, tallying 12 goals and 18 assists. He was named to the 1983-84 Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference West Division All-Star Team for his efforts on the ice that season. He currently resides in Rutherford with his wife Joanne, and their two children, Veronica and Jamie.
