Kelly Kernan Cameron quickly made her mark as one of the top softball players in Ramapo history during the 2000-2003 seasons. Her name can be found in the record books amongst the Top 5 for RBI in a season (41), RBI in a career (112), doubles in a season (15), doubles in a career (50), hits in a season (57), homeruns in a season (7), and homeruns in a career (16). She holds the #1 spot for RBI in a career and is also among the Top 10 for hits in a career (171). She helped lead her team to 107 wins over her four-year playing career, including 46 in conference play. During her senior campaign, the Roadrunners recorded a perfect 18-0 conference record, the best in school history. She earned honors such as NJAC 1st?Team All-Conference and East?Region All-American. In her final year at Ramapo, Cameron was named the Betty Logan Female Athlete of the Year and while excelling in the classroom, she was named Scholar Athlete of the Year. She is a 2003 graduate of Ramapo where she earned a degree in psychology with a teacher’s certification. Cameron resides in Secaucus with her husband Marc.
