Coach Mike Jackson was a seven-time NJAC Coach of the Year, and led the Women's Indoor Track and Field team to the first-ever NJAC Indoor Championship in 2012. Jackson showed an extraordinary ability to attract, recruit and retain qualified prospects at the College. During his tenure as the first full-time coach for cross country and track and field, he garnered several Top 10/Top 25 NCAA team finishes for both genders. Over 70 men and women earned the opportunity to represent Ramapo on the National Stage under Jackson’s tenure, which produced over 40 NCAA All-Americans. He also saw five of his athletes earn the top honor of NCAA individual Champion. In 2012 and 2013 he was named USTFCCCA Atlantic Region Women’s Head Coach of the Year. He served as the men's and women's head coach of the Roadrunner Cross Country and Track and Field Teams from 2004-2015, and in 2008 oversaw the construction of the new track and field facility. He currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife Jessica and two daughters Madison and Kennedy.
