Robert Pawlick, known to most at Ramapo as “Bonz”, was a member of the Ramapo College Community beginning in 1973, until he graduated in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He spent his days at the college as a member of the basketball team in 1973, and again from 1975-76. He also participated in football during the 1974-1978 season. Pawlick posted the longest fumble return, going 32 yards for a touchdown, in a victory over St. Peter’s College in October of 1974. Two years later, Pawlick recorded 26 rushes for 102 yards, third on the team, while improving to 46 rushes for 135 yards in 1977, also third on the team. He recorded three touchdowns that season leading his team to an 8-1 overall record. The team defeated Providence College that year in the National Bowl, finishing ranked #1 in the final NCFA poll. He currently resides in Leonia with his wife Susan. They have two children, Emily and Robert.
