Lindsay (Hughes) Neumann rewrote the women's lacrosse record books during her four-year career as a Roadrunner, serving as captain for three seasons. Neumann, to this day, remains the program’s all-time leading scorer in program history with 248 career goals. In 2015, Neumann became the college’s all-time leading goal scorer upon netting her 160th goal, which included three game winning goals that season.

During her senior campaign in 2016, she scored her 200th career goal and was selected as the NJAIAW Woman of the Year, while also earning the distinction of being the institution’s first student-athlete Commencement speaker. Neumann still holds the single-season record with 93 goals from the 2013 season.

In addition to her scoring accolades, Neumann leads the program in career points (300) and career draw controls (408). She ranks second all-time in career assists (52) and finished her career with 113 ground balls and 69 caused turnovers. A two-time New Jersey Athletic Conference and Skyline First Team All-Conference selection, she was also named both the 2013 NJAC and Skyline Rookie of the Year. Neumann led the NJAC in goals per game and draw controls in all four seasons of her career.

Neumann graduated in 2016 with a degree in communications. She is married to her husband, Matt, and they have one son, Shea, with a second baby boy expected in June 2026. She currently resides in Wyckoff and works in sales at Indeed.
