Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College field hockey team has been selected to compete in the 2022 ECAC Field Hockey Championship Tournament. The Roadrunners will be making their second straight appearance as they are defending their 2021 ECAC Championship Title.
The Roadrunners, who are the #3 seed, will host #2 seeded Alvernia University at the Athletic Center Turf Field at 1pm on Saturday, November 12th. Kean University, who received a bye and the #1 seed, will play the winner on Sunday, November 13th at 2pm. The winner of the semifinal game will host the championship game.
Ramapo wrapped up the 2022 regular season with a 11-6 overall record, which matches the second best win total in program history. The Roadrunners have been led by
Victoria Docherty with eight goals and one assist for 17 points.
Mariah Tovar has recorded six goals and six assists for a team high 18 points while
Maggie Farrell's nine assists is a team best this season. Farrell also posted four goals for 17 points.
Allison Tanasy recorded six goals this season while
Katie Yarussi posted four goals and one assist for nine points.
