Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College Roadrunners played host to the Express of Wells College today at the Athletic Center. The team posted their first win of the season which will be recorded as the first win in the history of the program at Ramapo. The Roadrunners improve to 1-3 overall while the Express falls to 4-4 for the year.
Rookie DAISY CORNELL (Hackettstown, NJ) netted the game winner at 29:49 off a cross from BECKY GRODZKI (Point Pleasant, NJ). Ramapo out shot Wells six to four in the 1-0 shut out victory in Mahwah.
KATELYN FERGUSON (Sussex, NJ) recorded her first shut out of the season blocking four shots in 70 minutes. Kendra Howe (Owego, NY) and Zamir Vasquez (New York, NY) split the time in front of the net combining for two total saves.
The Roadrunners will travel to Montclair on Wednesday, October 8th at 7:00 PM
