Hartford scored first when Ashley Taylor found the back of the net in the seventh minute of action to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead. Ramapo answered in the second quarter when Ella Tinacci scored her second goal of the season in the 24th minute to tie the game, 1-1.

The Roadrunners took their first lead of the game early in the third quarter when Kayla Gray tallied her third goal of the season in the 37th minute to go up, 2-1. Hartford would tie the game once more as Ava Lipson scored off an assist from Olive Thatcher with just three seconds remaining in the third to tie the game, 2-2.

Neither team found the back of the net in the fourth quarter, sending the game into overtime. Ramapo put three shots on goal in the extra period before Momm was awarded a penalty stroke following a save on her shot in the 69th minute. Momm converted the stroke for the game-winning goal and the 3-2 victory. The goal was her third of the season as she is now tied with Gray for the team lead.

Ramapo's defense held strong as Hartford held a 27-11 advantage in shots and an 11-2 edge in penalty corners. Emily Getz started in goal for Ramapo and recorded 17 saves through the first three quarters. Olivia Wintrode took over in the fourth quarter and overtime, keeping Hartford off the board over the final 23:07 to help secure the victory.
