Center Valley, PA: The DeSales University field hockey team defeated Ramapo College tonight 5-0 in non-conference action to open the 2026 season for both programs.
The Bulldogs opened the game with a goal in the third minute of action as Alina Culver hit the back of the net off a pass from Hailey Wert. DeSales added two goals in the second quarter as Mia Carder and Shelby Haldeman each scored. Abigail Antipas posted the team's third goal of the game in the third quarter (25th minute) before Antipas collected her second of the game in the final quarter (43rd minute) for the 5-0 lead. The Bulldogs recorded 28 shots on goal in the game while they collected 14 penalty corners.

Isabella Asaro each recorded a defensive save while Roadrunner starting goalie
Emily Getz tallied four saves in the first 30 minutes of action.
Olivia Wintrode entered to start the second half and collected 15 saves in her collegiate debut. The Roadrunners earned three penalty corners in the game, all in the second quarter.
Ramapo will return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 9th when they host Russell Sage College under the lights at the Athletic Center at 7pm.Â
