Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's outdoor track & field team hosted the Last Chance Twilight tonight at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners won six events in the meet.
In the 100m finals,
Brandon Balcacer posted a time of 11.08 seconds to win the event while
JC Mendoza clocked in at 11.14 seconds for a third-place finish.
Anthony Gentile (4th) posted a time of 11.16 seconds while
Mark Shinkorenko placed sixth overall in 11.34 seconds.
Logan Natale won the 200m dash as he crossed the line in 22.24 seconds, which ties the 9th best time in program history.
Terrell Lockett finished second (22.46) while
Ndubuisi Okeh finished third (22.57). In the 400m dash,
Anthony Sileo grabbed a fourth-place finish in 51.98 seconds while the Roadrunners posted two of the top three finishes in the 800m dash.
Ryan Pena won the event in 1:58.01 while
Michael Mohr posted a time of 1:59.64 for third place.
Brandon Meneses finished fifth overall in the 1,500m race in 4:21.14 while
Owen Usinowicz grabbed second place in the 110 hurdles in 16.95 seconds. In the 400m hurdles,
Kaison Kinery (1:00.59) and
Lindell Mejia (1:01.97) finished in second and third place respectively. Both relay teams captured first place for the team as the 4x100m team posted a time of 42.35 seconds. They were made up of Balcacer,
Marco Bozza-Caballero, Mendoza and Okeh. The 4x400m relay team combined for first place finish with a time of 3:34.21. The team was made up of
Julian Mignone, Mohr,
Colin Unis, and Pena. In the field,
Sebastiano Secades won the long jump with a mark of 6.13m.
Select Roadrunners will compete at the Weidner Final Qualifier on Monday, May 12th while those who qualified for the AARTFC Championships will compete on Wednesday, May 14th and Thursday, May 15th. Â
