Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's outdoor track and field team grabbed a third-place team finish in the field of nine teams at the 2026 NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Roadrunners tallied 86.33 points in the two-day meet.
NJAC Championship Final Results
The 4x100m relay team posted a new school record and earned NJAC Runner-Up with a combined time of 41.02 seconds. The team was made up of
Wander Dilone,
Samuel Thomas,
Kevin Ortiz and
Darnel Romain.
Matt Suero set a new school record in the 400m hurdles in 53.23 seconds as he finished in sixth-place overall. Thomas was crowned NJAC Champion in the 200m dash finals with a new personal best along with being 2nd all-time at Ramapo in 21.11 seconds. He also finished as NJAC Runner-Up in the 100m dash in 10.54 seconds which is second all-time at Ramapo.
Wander Dilone placed 5th overall in the 100m dash in 10.77 seconds. In the decathlon, Benjamin Zelasco finished as NJAC Runner-Up with 5,958 points which is second all-time in program history.
Jaycen Peterson placed fourth in the 400m dash finals in 48.28 seconds which is a new second all-time at Ramapo.
Jordan Hart finished 5th (48.32 seconds) and
Logan Natale finished 6th (48.63 seconds) which are now third and fourth all-time in program history respectively.
John Swaney clocked in at 1:56.62 in the 800m race for a 7th place finish while his time is now 10th in program history. In the long jump,
Kevin Ortiz posted a mark of 6.83 seconds which is third all-time at Ramapo and was 6th in today's field. The 4x400m relay team also finished as NJAC Runner-Up, the team was made up of Natale, Hart, Peterson, and
Christian Iriaka. The squad posted a time of 3:15 flat.
