Bethlehem, PA: The Ramapo College men's outdoor track & field team competed at the Coach Pollard Invitational hosted by Moravian University.
Matthew Suero won the 400m hurdles when he clocked in at 53.99 seconds.
Colin Unis finished sixth (56.32 seconds) and
Robert Cassavell finished seventh (56.37 seconds).
Brian Metz placed eighth overall in the 5k in 15:51.01.
Ryan Pena finished third overall in the 1,500m race in 3:57.00 while
Sebastian Herrera grabbed a sixth-place finish in 3:58.56. The Roadrunners had three finishes in the top 10 of the 400m dash.
Jordan Hart took home third place (48.47 seconds),
Logan Natale finished fifth (48.73 second) and
Jaycen Peterson finished in ninth place (49.20 seconds). In the 100m dash finals,
Samuel Thomas took home third place in 10.63 seconds while
Wander Dilone placed fourth overall in 10.78 seconds. Herrera and
Julian Mignone posted times of 1:59.30 and 1:59.78 in the 800m finals to finish in 15th and 18th place respectively. Thomas also grabbed a fourth-place finish in the 200m dash finals in 21.89 seconds while
Zal Charles placed fifth overall in the high jump when he cleared 6' 0". Benjamin Zelasco also cleared 6' 0" finishing in ninth place overall. In the javelin,
Alexander Jimenez posted a mark of 174' 10¾" to place fifth while
Nick Palmadesso placed 10th with a mark of 163' 3".
Ramapo returns to action on April 24th at the Penn Relays while the majority of the team will be competing at the Vassar Spring Invite on April 25th.
