Mahwah, NJ:  Three Ramapo College softball players were named to the 2025 NFCA All-Region IV Team, announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Senior Marissa DiPaolo and junior Avery Kontura were named NFCA All-Region IV Second Team while junior Kori Gargiulo was named NFCA All-Region IV Third Team.

DiPaolo earned her second NFCA All-Region honor of her career after leading the Roadrunners in the circle with 15 wins, 133.1 innings pitched, 23 appearances, 14 complete games, and three shutouts. She boasted a 1.79 ERA with 70 strikeouts to just 26 walks this season.

Kontura, who was named to the NFCA Player of the Year Watchlist this season, earns her first NFCA All-Region honor of her career. She posted a .339 batting average with 43 hits including 11 doubles with 21 RBI and 22 runs scored this season in 40 games played. She finished with a .424 slugging percentage along with five sacrifice hits while she finished 4-4 in stolen bases. On defense at second base, she collected 70 putouts with 44 assists while she helped turn two double plays.

Gargiulo, who earned her first NFCA All-Region honor of her career, started all 44 games for the Roadrunners. She recorded a .316 batting average and was third on the team with 42 hits including 12 doubles, and one triple. She drove in 21 RBI, scored 20 runs and drew 13 walks and recorded eight sacrifice hits this season. She also posted a .421 slugging percentage and .387 on base percentage. On defense she collected 102 putouts and posted two assists from left field.

The awards honor student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with selection to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region. All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced May 28 online and on-site at the NCAA Division III Finals banquet in Bloomington, Ill.
