Staten Island, NY: Members of the Ramapo College men's indoor track & field team competed at the Big Apple Invitational this afternoon at the Ocean Breeze Complex. The Roadrunners competed against a field of NCAA D1, D3 and unattached athletes.
Sebastian Pross finished 2nd overall in the weight throw with a mark of 16.11m as he moved up the all-time list at Ramapo and now sits in third.
Braden Holm finished 6th with a mark of 15.10m also improving his all-time best, moving up the top 10 list at Ramapo and now holds the fourth best mark. Terrell Locket grabbed a third-place finish in the 200m dash with a time of 22.44 seconds, he lowered his all-time best while the time is 8th at Ramapo.
Anthony Gentile placed ninth overall in the 200m dash in 22.91 seconds.
Brandon Balcacer placed 4th in the 60m dash with a time of 7.03 seconds. Gentile and
Logan Natale finished 11-12 in the 400m dash with times of 51.41 seconds & 51.61 seconds. In the mile,
Julian Mignone crossed the finish line with a time of 4:29.76 for a 10th place finish.
Ryan Pena posted a 5th place finish in the 800m run in 1:57.40.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, Feb. 15th when they travel to the New York Armory for the NYU DIII Invitational which is set to begin at 9:00 AM.
