Mahwah, NJ: The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced the 2025-2026 NJAC Men's Basketball preseason poll this afternoon. The poll is voted on by the 10 league coaches and has the Roadrunners finishing 6th overall.
Chuck McBreen, who enters his 28th year at the helm of the team, comes off another banner year for the program after reaching the NCAA Tournament for the ninth time under his direction. The Roadrunners hosted the NCAA First & Second rounds at the Bradley Center and
Chuck McBreen Court. After losing the starting five from a season ago to graduation, McBreen will look to seniors
Tim Linton,
Elijah Barlow,
Enoch Hutchinson,
Tyrell Murchison to help lead the team. Linton returns as the team's leading scorer from a season ago with 212 points while he grabbed 122 rebounds and posted a team high 24 blocked shots. Barlow tallied 82 points and shot 40% from the three-point line while Murchison recorded 30 assists, 56 rebounds, 18 steals and 63 points. Hutchinson contributed with 32 points and 15 rebounds while junior
Branden Moore played in all 29 games and recorded 122 points and 44 rebounds.
The Roadrunners open the season on Saturday, November 8th when they host Maritime College for a non-conference game at 4:00 PM. The team will take on four more non-conference opponents before opening up NJAC play at home on November 22nd as they host conference rival New Jersey City University at 7:30 PM.
