Mahwah, NJ:  Senior guard Peter Gorman has been named Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Division III men's college basketball Player of the Year, announced today by the organization.

Gorman led the Roadrunners this season in scoring 617 points, 22/points per game, which is second all-time in a single season in program history. Gorman shot 47% from the field (204-434), 42% from the three-point line (68-160) and 85% from the free throw line (141-165). He tallied 125 rebounds, 90 assists, 37 steals and three blocks. He finished with 1,696 career points which is third all-time in program history. Gorman recorded nineteen 20+ point games and four 30+ point games this season including his career high of 39 points. He is the fourth Roadrunner in program history to earn this honor and the first since the 2016-2017 season. 

Gorman is the fifth MBWA Division III men's Player of the Year from Ramapo. He was preceded by Charles Ransom, 2003; Amin Wright, 2005; Ahmad Mobsy, 2007; Thomas Bonacum, 2017. The All-MET honorees will be celebrated at the 92nd annual MBWA All-Met Haggerty Awards Dinner on Thursday, April 24th.
