STEVENS BESTS RAMAPO IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION

Mahwah, NJ:  The Stevens University field hockey team earned their first win of the 2024 season in a 5-0 shutout over Ramapo College this afternoon. The Roadrunners now stand at 1-1 on the year.
 
Gabi Moroney and Taylor Brooks each scored two goals for the Ducks in the non-conference win while Jess Kopernick added the teams fifth goal in the 53rd minute of action. Stevens tallied 20 penalty corners along with 23 shots on goal.
 
Ramapo goalie Michelle Kukan posted 16 saves which is a season high.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Friday, Sept. 6th at the Athletic Center Turf Field for a 7pm non-conference game against the University of Saint Joseph.
