Dallas, PA: The Ramapo College field hockey team earned a 1-0 road shutout victory over Misericordia University. The Roadrunners move to 5-2 overall while the Cougars now stand at 2-4 on the year.

Ramapo held a 12-2 advantage in shots in the first two quarters before
Victoria Docherty put the Roadrunners on the board. To set up the eventual game-winning goal,
Mariah Tovar carried the ball down the right side of the field before passing it off to
Maggie Farrell. Docherty then took the pass from Farrell for her team leading 7th goal of the season in the 36th minute of action.

The Roadrunners recorded 16 shots in the game including three on goal while the Cougars recorded six shots and three on goal.
Michelle Kukan posted three saves as she faced six shots in the cage for Ramapo while Sara Bogina posted two saves for Misericordia while facing 16 shots.

Ramapo will return to action on Saturday, September 24th when they travel to Connecticut College for a non-conference game at 1pm.
