Mahwah, NJ:  Junior Kevin Stewart was named to the 2019 D3baseball.com All-Region team announced on Thursday, March 23rd.  Stewart who earned Mid-Atlantic First Team honors as a starting pitcher will now have the opportunity to be named a D3baseball.com All-American, which will be announced later this week.
 
Stewart led the Roadrunners this season with a 5-1 overall record while he's made nine appearances and nine starts on the mound. He leads the team with 65 strikeouts in over 52.1 innings pitched while opponents are batting just .217 against him. In NJAC-only statistics, Stewart was tied for victories (4) as he finished 4-0 with a 1.26 ERA and 28.2 innings pitched. He ranked third in strikeouts (35) while opponents batted .160 against him. For his career at Ramapo he holds a win-loss record of 11-1 overall in 19 games started while he struck out 109 in over 103 career innings pitched. He was also named the 2019 NJAC Pitcher of the Year and First Team All-Conference.
 
The 2019 season marks the eighth year that D3baseball.com has named All-Region teams, with more than 800 players nominated. The ballot was then made available to SIDs, who voted for a predetermined number of players in their region, as well as D3baseball.com staff and contributors.
