Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College softball team swept a non-conference double header today at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners improve to 27-7 while the Lions fall to 8-20.

Amanda Sansevere (West Keansburg, NJ) ripped a single down the left field line and the throw was misplayed allowing
Marilee Farmer (Toms River, NJ) to score on the play giving Ramapo a 1-0 lead. Senior
Heather Camb (Totowa, NJ) hit into a fielder's choice and rookie
Rachel Wong (Livingston, NJ) was safe at the plate. Sansevere then scored from third base as sophomore
Jamie Chalkley (West Milford, NJ) stole second base.

Katie Norton (Livingston, NJ) struck out nine in the complete game victory, picking up her ninth win of the season.
Sophomore
Katie Donnelly (North Haledon, NJ) stole two bases in the game breaking the single season stolen base record at Ramapo College; she now has 24 on the season.
Senior
Lauren Cascino (New Windsor, NY) and Donnelly were both 2-4 in the game while Farmer was 2-3 with one run scored.
Ramapo batted around in the second inning of game two as they scored nine runs with six hits. The inning was highlighted by rookie Ashley O'Rourke (Pequannock, NJ) when she hit a two-RBI double to right center-field. Wong drove in rookie
Jaclyn Giangrande (Belleville, NJ) with a single to left field to plate Ramapo's tenth run of the game in the third inning.
Albright got one back in the fourth inning when Kelli Johnson (Shoemakersville, PA) scored from second base on Alex Keyes' (Nazareth, PA) double to center field. The Lions scored again in the fifth inning when Gloria Alfonsi (Phoenixville, PA) reached on an error and scored when Stevie Crouse (Nazareth, PA) singled to right field.
Rookie
Lyndsay Buehler (River Vale, NJ) improved to 7-2 on the year, striking out two in four innings of work while rookie
Kristina Jimenez (West Milford, NJ) pitched the final inning, giving up one run, unearned and one hit.
O'Rourke was perfect at the plate going 3-3 with one run scored and two RBI while Wong was 3-3 with two runs scored and three RBI.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday as they host NJAC rival Richard Stockton College at 1:00 PM.
