Ewing, NJ: The #18 ranked College of New Jersey women's lacrosse team defeated Ramapo College today in NJAC action, 20-1. The Lions improve to 12-2 overall 2-0 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 5-9 overall and 0-2 in the league.
TCNJ scored 10 goals in the first quarter, five in the second, two in the third and three in the fourth while the Roadrunners got their goal in the fourth quarter. Marissa Lucca led the Lions with seven goals while Kelly Nevins posted six.
Erin Smeilus scored Ramapo's goal off a pass from
Darrien Pennachio.
Daniella Indomenico posted ten saves for the Roadrunners in goal. Smeilus posted two draw controls while
Kristina McClain and
Kaitlyn Powers each grabbed two ground balls.
The Roadrunners return to action at home on April 22nd when they host Kean University at 5:00 PM.
