Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team swept the University of Valley Forge with a score of 3-0 (25-6, 25-9, 25-12). The Roadrunners move to 7-8 overall while the Patriots now stand at 5-9 on the year.
Ramapo hit .507 in the match with 41 kills on 71 attempts with just five errors.
Trevor Van Valkenburgh led the way hitting .526 overall with a team high 11 kills on 19 attempts with just one error while recording seven digs.
Jan Tracz and
Josh Barrett each collected nine kills while Tracz hit .643 with 14 attempts and no errors. Barrett added one ace, one solo block and four digs.
Sean McNally and
Sebastian Hernandez each collected six digs while
Joseph Duca dished out nine assists while he recorded a team high five aces.
Ryan Westrich contributed with 14 assists, one kill and two aces.
For Valley Forge, Isaiah Reece and Jayce Blanton each collected three kills while Blanton led the way with eight digs on defense. Patrick Tyler dished out a team high seven assists while he added one kill and four digs. The team collected nine total kills on 60 attempts with 13 errors.
The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, March 5th when they host Baruch College at 6pm.
