Mahwah, NJ: The United States Merchant Marine Academy defeated Ramapo College in non-conference action, 17-1. The Mariners move to 4-3 overall while the Roadrunners now stand at 4-6 overall.
USMMA scored the first two goals of the game to take a 2-0 lead after 13 minutes of action with goals from Reese Ripley and Leslie Wysong.
Bethany Glaser cut the Mariner lead in half as she hit the back of the net off a pass from
Kassidy Baez with 3:33 on the clock in the first. Wysong added one more goal in the first for USMMA as they took a 3-1 lead into the second. USMMA added four in the second, eight in the third and two in the fourth as they held the Roadrunners scoreless the remainder of the game for a 17-1 road victory.
Ripley posted seven goals to lead the Mariners while Wysong added five goals and two assists. Isabelle Perry led the team with four assists while Lana Hayes added three assists and one goal. Karianna Eagle posted five saves for USMMA in goal.

Daniella Indomenico posted a career high 16 saves as she faced 33 shots on goal in the game.
Kaitlin Schettino posted four caused turnovers in the game while grabbing four ground balls.
Ramapo returns to action on Friday, April 3rd when they travel to Maritime College for a non-conference game at 5:00 PM.
