Annandale-on-Hudson, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team earned a 3-0 (25-19, 25-21. 25-17) road win over Bard College. The Roadrunners improve to 8-9 overall while the Raptors drop to 9-12 on the year.
The Roadrunners were led by
Jan Tracz who put down 11 kills while adding two aces, two blocks (one solo).
Amari Menter hit .353 in the match with 10 kills on 17 attempts with just four errors. Menter also posted four digs, one block and one assist.
Justin Hidalgo contributed with eight kills, two blocks and two digs while
Xavier Fabre added four blocks including two solo.
Sebastian Hernandez dished out a team high 26 assists while he added two aces, four digs and one block. On defense, Tracz led the way with six digs while
Sean McNally added five digs. Ramapo recorded 33 kills as a team on 77 attempts with 15 errors.
Sidney Stein led Bard with 11 kills, hitting.333 in the match on 24 attempts and just three errors. Ansel Waisler posted six kills, one block and a team high seven digs while Pearse Esposito and Lincoln Grisso each collected four kills in the match. Esposito tallied a team high 20 assists while adding four digs and three blocks. The team posted 29 kills on 82 attempts with 21 errors.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, March 14
th when they travel to Widener University for a tri-match with #6-ranked Stevens Institute of Technology. Ramapo will take on the Ducks at 3pm and the host Pride at 5pm.
