MEN'S VOLLEYBALL DEFEATS JOHN JAY, FALLS TO RUSSELL SAGE

Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team split a pair of matches today at the Bradley Center. The Roadrunners move to 3-7 overall.

Russell Sage College 3, Ramapo 1
The Gators (3-10 overall) defeated Ramapo (2-7 overall) in four sets (25-22, 17-25, 25-22, 25-19). Sage had two players hit over .300 in the match as Dylan Fox led the way with 16 kills on 33 attempts with just five errors to hit .333. Fox added three assists blocks and one solo while John Lindheimer hit .370 with 13 kills on 27 attempts with three errors. He posted one ace, two assists, one block and ten digs. Eliseo Nogueras III led the team with 13 digs while Anthony Guetti dished out 45 assists. The team hit .311 in the match with 55 kills on 122 attempts with 17 errors.
For the Roadrunners, Jan Tracz led the way with 17 kills while adding five digs, one ace and one block. Amari Menter posted 11 kills, three aces, two assists and nine digs. Xavier Fabre hit .750 in the match with nine kills on 12 attempts with no errors while adding three total blocks including one solo. Sean McNally posted 12 digs to lead the way on defense while Joseph Duca dished out a career high 37 assists. The team collected 50 total kills on 132 attempts with 23 errors to hit .205 in the match.

Ramapo 3, John Jay 0
In their second match of the day the Roadrunners defeated John Jay College 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-18). The Bloodhounds now stand at 5-5 overall. Ramapo hit .299 in the match with 35 total kills on 77 attempts and 12 errors. Menter hit .520 to lead the team with 15 kills on 25 attempts with just two errors. Menter also posted one ace and five digs. Tracz collected 11 kills, four blocks (one ace) and seven digs while Duca dished out 30 assists. Duca added one kill and five digs in the match. McNally posted 11 digs on defense while adding two assists.

The Roadrunners return to action on Feb. 17th when they travel to Cairn University for a 7pm match.
