Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team defeated visiting King's College (PA) this afternoon, 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-19). The Roadrunners improve to 2-1 overall while the Monarchs move to 1-3 overall.
The Roadrunners hit .256 in the match with 40 total kills on 90 attempts with 17 errors.
Jan Tracz led the team with 15 kills as he hit .429 in the match on 28 attempts and just three errors. He also added two aces and two blocks (one solo) along with four digs.
Josh Barrett posted eight kills, two aces and four digs while
Xavier Fabre also posted eight kills to hit .636 in the match on 11 attempts with just one error.
Joseph Duca dished out a team high 32 assists while adding six digs and two kills.
Sean McNally led the way with 10 digs while adding two assists.
King's hit .160 in the match with 26 kills on 75 attempts and 14 errors. Logan Place led the team with 11 kills while he added one ace and one solo block. Greg Bousguet added eight kills and one solo block. Ben Maskiell collected 22 assists while he also led the team on defense with nine digs. Aiden Glasgow contributed on defense with eight digs of his own.
The Roadrunners return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 27th when they travel to New Jersey City University for a NJAC match at 7:00 PM.
