Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team has been tabbed to finish 4th in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Preseason Poll announced this afternoon. The league's preseason poll is voted on by the head coaches.
The Roadrunners who are under direction of the program's first full-time head coach,
Tyler Kwinta, will open the season on Friday, Jan. 16th against New Paltz. The Roadrunners and Hawks will square off at the Bradley Center and
Chuck McBreen Court at 6pm in non-conference action. Ramapo will host their first NJAC match of the season on Wednesday, Jan. 21st when they host Rutgers-Newark University at 6pm. Jan Tracz returns to the Roadrunners lineup after his rookie season last year where he posted 183 kills, 48 blocks, 66 digs and a team high 47 aces.
Caleb Ford and
Sean McNally also return for their junior season. Ford recorded 124 kills, 18 aces while he led the team with 67 total blocks including 18 solo blocks. McNally led the way on defense for the Roadrunners with 224 digs, 2.41 per set while he posted a .943 passing percentage. Coach Kwinta will also look to newcomer and outside hitter
Sebastian Rodriguez to make an immediate impact on the court. Rodriguez transferred from NCAA DI Dominican University.
