Tyler Kwinta was promoted to head coach of both the men's and women's volleyball programs during the summer of 2025. Kwinta becomes the College's first-ever full-time head coach of both programs, the 17th women's head coach in program history and the seventh men's head coach in program history.
Coach Kwinta took over the women's volleyball program for the 2024 season in August following a stellar 2023 season, the team won the first NJAC Women's Volleyball Title in school history. The 2024 season was a rebuilding year for Kwinta and the squad where they capped off the season with a win over Centenary University at home on senior day. Prior to Ramapo, Kwinta served as the women's volleyball assistant coach at NCAA Division I University of Connecticut during the 2023 season. He also serves as the head coach of the Warren Sixpack Volleyball Club.
The 2026 men's volleyball seaosn will be the first time Coach Kwinta will be at the helm of the program. The 2025 squad reached the Skyline Conference Semifinal Match and recorded 19 victories.
Kwinta was a four-year student-athlete at Sacred Heart University from 2020-2023. He served as the team captain and was named to the EIVA All-Academic Team where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Finance & Marketing.
