Scranton, PA: The Ramapo College men's soccer team recorded a decisive 4-1 win over Marywood University today on the road. The Roadrunners have won three out of their last four games and push their record to 4-1-1 overall. The Pacers move to 2-4 overall.
The Roadrunners scored two goals in each half today as
Dylan Perez scored back-to-back goals in the 32nd and 40th minute to put Ramapo up, 2-0.
Alim Lita earned the assist on the second goal. In the second half, Marywood got on the board with a goal of their own in the 56th minute as Drew Smith scored for the Pacers.
Leo Mandile tallied an unassisted goal for the Roadrunners in the 74th minute before Ramapo was awarded a penalty kick in the 76th minute.
Gianfranco Ponce stepped up to secure his second goal of the season as Ramapo led, 4-1.
Zachary Natt collected three saves in goal for the Roadrunners in the win while he faced seven total shots. Ramapo took 17 shots in the game including nine on goal while they held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, Sept. 20th when they host Penn College in a non-conference game at 2:00 PM.
