Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team and Marywood University played to a 1-1 draw in non-conference action today at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners move to 2-2-1 overall while the Pacers now stand at 1-1-2.
The game remained scoreless until the 68th minute when
Dylan Perez put the Roadrunners on the board.
Luca Cascio delivered a pass to Perez, who ripped a shot off the crossbar and into the net to give Ramapo a 1-0 lead.
Marywood evened the score in the 81st minute when Jayce Wilson tallied his first goal of the season for the 1-1 tie. Both teams recorded seven shots on goal in the game, while Ramapo held a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Zachary Natt collected six saves for the Roadrunners, while Ryan Schweigart posted six saves for the Pacers.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 16, when they travel to Penn College for a non-conference game at 1pm.
