Old Westbury, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team extended their win streak to five with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-18) road win over Old Westbury tonight in Skyline action. The Roadrunners improve to 9-6 overall and 5-1 in the conference while the Panthers drop to 4-9 overall and 2-5 in the conference.
Reece Kirchofer led the way for Ramapo with 18 kills on 36 attempts as he hit .417 overall. He added two blocks and eight digs.
Mekkhai Brown posted nine kills and one block while
Brady Cascone also added nine kills.
JoJo Meyer led the way with 37 assists and 13 digs.
Sean McNally also posted 13 digs in the game on defense. Ramapo hit .346 as a team in the match with 49 kills on 107 attempts and 12 errors.
The Panthers were led by Torrence Fredricks and Liam Eisel who each put down seven kills in the match. Ashel Santos recorded 17 assists, seven digs and one block while Jose Lorenzo Santos collected ten digs on defense to lead the team.
Ramapo returns to action on Sunday, March 9
th when they travel to Yeshiva University for a tri-match with St. Joseph's University Long Island. The Roadrunners will take on the host Maccabees at 11am and the Golden Eagles at 1pm.
