Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team moved to 4-1 in the Skyline and 8-6 overall with a sweep over Yeshiva University tonight at the Bradley Center. The Maccabees moved to 1-11 overall and 0-4 in the conference.
Ramapo hit .434 as a team with 45 kills on 76 attempts with just 12 errors. They were led by
Trevor Van Valkenburgh who tallied nine kills while he hit .750 in the match.
Jan Tracz posted seven kills (.667), four aces and one blocked shot.
Reece Kirchofer also put down seven kills (.545) while adding five digs and one assist.
Caleb Ford picked up six kills (.625) while
Justin Hidalgo and
Mekkhai Brown each added four in the match.
JoJo Meyer collected a team high 27 assists while
Joseph Duca posted eight assists and two kills.
Yeshiva collected six total kills in the match while Amiti Trabelsi posted six assists and four digs. Jonathan Werta led the way with three kills.
The Roadrunners return to action on Friday, March 7th when they travel to Old Westbury for a 7:00 pm match.
