Harrison, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team battled back to defeat host Manhattanville College tonight in Skyline conference action, 3-2 (25-22, 23-25, 23-25, 26-24, 15-9). The Roadrunners move to 7-6 overall and 3-1 in the league while the Valiant's drop to 3-13 overall and 1-3 in the league.
Ramapo put down 61 total kills in the match as they hit .205 overall. The team was led by
Reece Kirchofer who put down 20 kills while adding 10 digs for a double double on the night.
Brady Cascone added 13 kills and
Jan Tracz contributed with 11 kills, two aces and six blocks.
Caleb Ford and
Mekkhai Brown each tallied seven blocks in the match while
JoJo Meyer dished out 50 assists while he posted 11 digs.
Sean McNally also recorded 11 digs on defense.
Manhattanville posted 46 kills in the match while they were led by Kyle Simmons who collected 18 kills, five blocks and two assists. Emil Medrano posted eight kills while Joe Gandarillas added seven. Justin Lau and Mason Moon recorded five and four blocks respectively while Moon posted a team high 35 assists and a team high 13 digs.
Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday night at the Bradley Center when they host Yeshiva University in a Skyline match at 8:00pm at the Bradley Center.
