Bronxville, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team won their third straight match this afternoon as they defeated Sarah Lawrence College, 3-1 and Old Westbury, 3-0 in Skyline action. The Roadrunners improve to 13-8 overall and 9-3 in the conference.
In the first match of the day against Sarah Lawrence, Ramapo tallied 53 kills as they hit .359 overall.
Reece Kirchofer posted 17 kills and hit .361 while adding two aces and six digs.
Brady Cascone collected 10 kills, two aces and five digs while
Jan Tracz tallied nine kills and hit .467. Jojo Meyer dished out a team high 44 assists in the four-set match while he added three kills, four aces and seven digs.
Sean McNally added six digs and two assists.
In the second match against Old Westbury, the Roadrunners recorded a .437 hitting percentage with 47 kills on 87 attempts with just nine errors. Kirchofer tallied 17 kills and two assists to once again lead the team. Cascone collected eight kills, three aces and three digs while
Caleb Ford and Tracz each tallied seven kills. Meyer added 36 assists in the match while posting three kills and 13 digs.
Ramapo returns to action with three home matches this week, the first on Monday, March 24th against Purchase College at 8pm.
