Brooklyn, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team defeated St. Joseph's University Brooklyn, 3-0 (25-13, 25-10, 25-21) tonight in Skyline Conference action. The Roadrunners move to 11-8 overall and 7-3 in th league. The Bears drop to 5-10 overall and 3-7 in the league.
Ramapo hit a combined .425 in the match with 41 kills on 73 attempts with just ten errors.
Reece Kirchofer hit .480 with a team high 15 kills while he added one ace and four digs.
Trevor Van Valkenburgh hit .714 with six kills on seven attempts with one error. Mekkahi Brown and
Jan Tracz each tallied six kills while Tracz collected three aces.
JoJo Meyer dished out a team high 36 assists while he added three aces, five digs, one kill and one block.
Sean McNally also posted five digs in the game to lead the team on defense.
Jeremias Martinez tallied 14 kills for the Bears to lead the team while Gianfranco Guarraci posted 13 assists. Kieran McMullan collected a team high 11 digs while Mark Belov tallied two solo blocks and one kill.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, March 22nd when they travel to Sarah Lawrence College (11am) for a Skyline tri-match with Old Westbury (1pm).
