Mahwah, NJ: Seven members of the Ramapo College indoor track & field team earned NCAA Division III Metro All-Region honors. The honorees were announced on Tuesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-3 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West.
Gbarper Dwah,
Dale Leonard, and
Sebastian Pross each earned individual All-Metro Region honors. Dwah earned Metro All-Region in the 60m dash. She will compete in the NCAA Championships on Friday, March 14th in the prelims of the 60m dash scheduled for 2:15pm. Leonard picked up three Metro All-Region honors in the 800m, mile and 3K events. Pross earned Metro All-Region in the weight throw. The men's 4x400m relay team also earned the Metro All-Region nod as
Anthony Gentile, Terrell Locket,
Logan Natale and
Mark Shinkorenko were honored.
