Piscataway, NJ: The Ramapo College men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Rutgers Relays today hosted by Rutgers University. The Roadrunners finished in 12th place as a team with 20 points.
The 4x100m relay team finished in fourth place overall with a season best time of 42.14 seconds. The team was made up of
Wander Dilone,
Samuel Thomas,
Darnel Romain and
Kevin Ortiz.
Nick Palmadesso placed sixth overall in the javelin with a mark of 54.53m while
Alexander Jimenez finished in 11th place with a mark of 51.56m. Romain posted a personal best time in the 100m dash in 11.02 seconds while
Logan Natale clocked in at 21.72 seconds in the 200m dash for a 10th place finish. Natale also grabbed a 7th place finish in the 400m dash with a personal best time of 48.71 while
Jordan Hart and
Jaycen Peterson each tallied personal best times of 48.84 seconds and 50.12 seconds. Matthew Suero clocked in at 54.83 seconds to finish in third place in the 400m hurdles while
Robert Cassavell set a new personal best in 55.35 seconds (sixth place).
Colin Unis posted a season best time of 57.42 seconds also in the 400m hurdles. Both
Ryan Pena (1:58.69) and
John Swaney (2:00.96) each tallied season best times in the 800m race. In the 1500m race,
Sebastian Herrera and
Julian Mignone posted times of 4:05.83 and 4:09.99 respectively.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, April 18th when they travel to Moravian University for the Coach P Invite.
