Patchogue, NY: The St. Joseph's University Long Island men's volleyball team remained undefeated in the Skyline conference with a victory over Ramapo College, 3-1 (25-15, 23-25, 25-18, 25-13). The Golden Eagles move to 9-6 overall and 7-0 in the conference while the Roadrunners stand at 10-8 overall and 6-3 in the Skyline.
St. Joseph's hit .325 in the match as a team with 50 kills on 114 attempts with just 13 errors. Luke MacPherson recorded a match high 17 kills with 11 digs, two blocks and one ace. Hank Foglia hit .571 with nine kills on 14 attempts with just one error while he added five total blocks (one solo) and three digs. AJ Esposito hit .750 with nine kills on 12 attempts and no errors. Will Kropp collected a match high 43 assists while adding three digs, one ace and one kill. Tyler Anderson posted ten digs on defense along with seven kills and four total blocks (one solo).
Reece Kirchofer led the Roadrunners with 15 kills while adding two aces.
Brady Cascone posted 14 kills and eight digs while
Jan Tracz collected six kills on 13 attempts with no errors to hit .462. Tracz also tallied two aces, one solo and one assisted block along with two digs.
JoJo Meyer dished out a team high 37 assists while adding one kill, two blocks and eight digs.
Sean McNally and Kirchofer each posted 11 digs to lead the team on defense.
Ramapo returns to action on March 17th when they travel to St. Joseph's University Brooklyn for a Skyline match at 7:00 PM.
