Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team won their third straight match to even their overall record at 3-3 on the season. The Roadrunners won both matches today over Bard College and Eastern University by the score of 3-1.
Ramapo 3, Bard 1 (25-12, 21-25, 25-15, 25-22)
Brady Cascone led the team with 20 kills while adding three digs and two total blocks.
Reece Kirchofer collected seven kills and three digs while
JoJo Meyer collected team highs in assists (34) and digs (9). Ramapo collected 42 kills as a team on 106 attempts and 22 errors.
The Raptors were led by Sidney Stein with ten kills while he added two aces. Quinn Lewis posted eight digs while Pearse Esposito tallied 16 assists. Georgi Chikolov contributed with 13 assists and one ace. The team posted 29 kills on 102 attempts with 26 errors.
Ramapo 3, Eastern 1 (25-21, 25-22, 21-25, 25-21)
In their second match of the day, Kirchofer and Cascone each collected 19 kills. Kirchofer added four total blocks including two solo and nine digs while Cascone collected three blocks (one solo) and four digs. Meyer dished out a season high 49 assists while posting 13 digs, three kills and two blocks.
Sean McNally recorded 13 digs on defense for the Roadrunners. Ramapo collected 58 kills on 148 attempts with 23 errors.
For Eastern (5-3 overall), they tallied 39 total kills on 122 attempts and 21 errors. They were led by Kaodi Wokocha who posted 15 kills and nine digs. Max Bushong and Josh Hrabosky tallied 12 and ten digs respectively while Ronan Landis collected 23 assists.
The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, February 6th when they host #2 ranked New York University in a non-conference match at 7pm.
