Mahwah, NJ: The department of athletics at Ramapo College of New Jersey is proud to announce that beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year, our men's volleyball program will join the Landmark Conference as an associate member. With the addition of Ramapo College and Kean University, men's volleyball will become the conference's 24th championship sport. The two programs join six other institutions including Drew University, Elizabethtown College, Juniata College, Lycoming College, University of Scranton, and Wilkes University.
Landmark Welcomes Kean & Ramapo as Men's Volleyball Associate Members
Towson, MD: The Landmark Conference is pleased to announce that Kean University and Ramapo College will join the conference as associate members in men's volleyball beginning in the 2026‑27 academic year.
The addition of Kean and Ramapo comes as the Landmark prepares to launch men's volleyball as its 24th championship sport. Current Landmark programs in the sport include Drew University, Elizabethtown College, Juniata College, Lycoming College, University of Scranton, and Wilkes University. Juniata led the way last season, finishing 31‑5 overall, including a 6‑1 record in the CVC, and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III tournament, advancing to the semifinals before falling 3‑2 to eventual national champion Southern Virginia.

"These programs have proven histories, great facilities, and a shared commitment to creating exceptional student-athlete experiences. Their presence will enhance our competitive landscape and help us launch our newest championship sport on solid footing."
Kean University competed in the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) alongside current Landmark members Drew, Elizabethtown, Juniata, and Wilkes, posting a 13‑12 overall record last season, including 3‑4 in league play. Ramapo College, a member of the Skyline Conference, finished 14‑4 and reached the conference semifinals in 2024‑25.

The Landmark Conference was founded in 2005 to bring together academically focused institutions in the mid-Atlantic region that shared a commitment to broad-based athletic participation and the Division III philosophy.
